A passion for Jesus

I have had a love for Jesus ever since I was a little girl and even from a young age, my heart’s passion and prayers have always been expressed through writing and poetry.

I want to share Gods heart through mine to shed truth and shine light to those in need.

As I look back, I can see that God’s presence has always been present in my life, even when I couldn’t feel it. He has done so much for me and His love has carried me through some really good and some really tough times. He has never forsaken me through it all. The thing that I find the most amazing is that He loves me just as much on my worst days as He does on my best ones. This is when I need Him most but deserve Him the least. That’s amazing love!

The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying:

“I have loved you with an everlasting love;
I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.” Jeremiah 31:3

I believe that He does the same for you. He is no respecter of persons. He created us all and He came for us all.

It’s in the valleys that we learn and grow the most. It’s on the mountain tops that we can look back and see this truth.

We don’t have as much control as we think we do and the longer we live, the more we realize this to be true. That is why we need God in every way, every day. God is the way, the truth and the life and when we give Him the reins and the reign over our lives, we are taken to amazing heights. Remember the only way to heights is from starting low and going through some unsure places. He’s teaching us through the highs and lows and everything in between. He’s continually forming us into who He originally made us to be. Will you follow His lead?

“God is not hiding from us. He wants us to seek Him, reach out for Him and find Him. He is not far from us. For in Him we live and move and have our being. We are His offspring.” Acts 17:27-28

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:8-10

We were created by God and for God. No one is a mistake. He wants us all to know Him. He has given us the greatest gift that we could ever ask for, Jesus and Salvation. It isn’t earned, it’s a gift. Everything else in our lives will starts to align when we make Christ the center of it ‘all’.

When we trust His character we will start to walk in His purposes. - Leah

God sent Jesus, His only begotten Son, so that we would believe in Him and accept the new life that He died to give us. That’s just the beginning: He came so that we might be delivered from sin & death. It’s an immediate salvation, but a life long sanctification process. He is continually trying to make us more and more like Him. He wants to open our eyes to His truth so that we might experience true life. (John 10:10)

We were created after the very own image of God and created to do His good works. He wants to complete those good works in us that He created us to do. That good work that He began and is in us, the enemy comes to steal from us before we even realize this truth.
We must first come to this knowledge before we can draw closer to Him and away from our own “so thought knowledge”. He is truth.

Since we were all created for work, we all have a job to do. We need to keep check to make sure that we aren’t caught up in the wrong things, wrong jobs, wrong wars and wrong thoughts. My heart is to share His heart. He wants all of us, our whole hearts and our whole life. When He has that, then He can guide us step by step and day by day. He shows us the way if we will just learn to listen and trust ‘as we walk’ in His way. Just start stepping. He will lead the way.

Surrender is full but daily He is working on us to make us more like Him. His word is truth! He will never guide us wrong. We just have to follow His Holy Spirit; His urge and lead, His voice, and His Word. That’s our job, to follow. His job is to lead. He is the way, the truth, and the life.

My prayer for you is that you will know Him more and more; hear, know and do what He’s called you to do. If there’s ever been a better time, I can’t think of one. There’s an urgency now like never before and we must wake up to answer His call, live our lives as unto Him ,and shine His light to a dark and lonely world. What this world needs is Jesus, People need the Lord and people need truth. Give them what they need, share Jesus.

Sharing His Word, Shining His Light

Spreading the good news, Doing good works

With Love,
