When are you going to put it in drive?

There’s a time to listen, a time to talk and a time to do.

Where the rubber meets the road, is where you & I put our words and faith into action. We were created for good works and meant to live! Jesus came to give us life and life more abundantly! That’s good news. You already have that promise, so the only question is: when are you gonna put it in drive? Faith without works is dead.

A car was created to be driven and our lives were created for good works and action. God can make something out of nothing. He created us from dust and created us after His very own image so that we would reflect and live our lives as unto Him.

My dad has always had a love for classic cars. Many of them are rebuilt to be show cars but cars were originally meant to be driven. I love to look at them but they are a lot more fun to drive! The body of the car, the engine, and all the parts that go along with it, were all carefully put together for it to function as it was made to do. God also carefully knit us together in our mother’s womb, making plans for our future from way long ago. He doesn’t make any mistakes! You are one of a kind!! He already knew our end from the very beginning, and we were created for so much more than we even know. We all have untapped potential. It’s time to take our faith for a spin. The more we use it, like driving a car, the easier it will become.

Let your life reflect what you say by what you do. Let your life reflect the desires that God gave to you.

It’s time to put it in drive. Don’t just sit there scared or pretty. You were created to live, to experience, to work, to interact, and to do what God created you to do. He wouldn’t have given you the talents and abilities if He didn’t want you to use them. He wants to bring those things to completion one day, that He put in you to do, but that requires you working with Him.

What we do here on earth will one day determine what we each of us will hear when it’s all said and done, only one of two things: “Well done My good and faithful servant” or “Depart from Me, I never knew you.” Don’t just sit there and rust like a car that isn’t driven; enjoy your life, do your work, tell others about Him.

Live like He created you to LIVE!  John 10:10. It doesn’t come without opposition but we must keep pressing on and by His Spirit and Might.

If we all drove like we wouldn’t see tomorrow,  we’d no doubt drive a little more, with a lot more intention, we’d take different route every now and then, and we’d appreciate the view a whole lot more.

He said: “If you love Me, Keep My Commandments” - John 14:15

He commands us to do!

What if you were given a car, would you just let it sit there or would you drive it? God gave us our lives so that we might live and glorify Him.

Be ye doers of the Word. Don’t just hear, DO! Don’t deceive yourselves and don’t lived deceived! Derived from James 1:22

Do something or you do nothing and we are all going to be judged, repaid and rewarded accordingly. Let that drive everything you do!

We all need to live more and live out our testimony. Do what you need to do and even what you’re scared to do, for everything you & I want is on the other side of fear. We all have something to overcome and so we could all use a little more encouragement! We all got a race to run and let us run it and let us help each other to finish strong. (Hebrews 12:1-3)

We were all created to do something!
