God’s got your back!
Esther 6
6 When Haman entered, the king asked him, “What should be done for the man the king delights to honor?”
Now Haman thought to himself, “Who is there that the king would rather honor than me?”
7 So he answered the king, “For the man the king delights to honor,
8 have them bring a royal robe the king has worn and a horse the king has ridden, one with a royal crest placed on its head.
9 Then let the robe and horse be entrusted to one of the king’s most noble princes. Let them robe the man the king delights to honor, and lead him on the horse through the city streets, proclaiming before him, ‘This is what is done for the man the king delights to honor!’”
10 “Go at once,” the king commanded Haman. “Get the robe and the horse and do just as you have suggested for Mordecai the Jew, who sits at the king’s gate. Do not neglect anything you have recommended.”
I just came to give you a quick reminder today! Don’t lose hope. Stand firm in faith. No matter what or who comes against you. God word stands. Greater is He that is in you than He that is in the world.
God can. God will. God intends to turn it around for you and on to the heads of your enemy! He never said we wouldn’t have trouble, that it would be easy or that weapons wouldn’t form. Quiet the opposite. BUT, He says that He will take care of these…..
“IN THIS WORLD you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
Remember what I told you: “‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. “ John 15:20
“No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the LORD. Isaiah 54:17
That’s good news!! NO weapon formed is gonna prosper! None! It may form, but it won’t prosper! Everyone who thinks they get one over on you or God, or who spews accusations and false assumptions, will be silenced. This is our heritage! It might not be easy for a time but it’ll be worthy in the end.
We are God’s representatives and when we follow Jesus and His lead, this makes the enemy mad. Jesus didn’t lead an easy life but an overcoming life. The enemy has workers just like God does BUT the difference is He overcame: “It is finished.” He made a way. We have nothing to worry about. That’s why He constantly says “Do not fear!” Is His word still not the same and alive and active?? And does He not watch over His word to perform it?
Haman thought that he was really something and his pride and boastful attitude were destroyed! We are nothing without God! He was messing with Gods own. He wanted to be high and he was haughty instead of humble. He thought that he was all that and more and that he deserved the royal treatment. What he didn’t know is that it was a set-up! A set up to put God’s chosen into his position and to ultimately save His people!!
The King had asked Haman what should be done for the man that he would honor. Since Haman thought that he was the one in whom the king delighted in and the he was the only one who deserved it, he told the king to go all out! Well the king did, just not for him! It turned around on him. That’s what our God and King can and will do for His own. At first it all may not feel good or seem right but in the end it comes back around full circle! ⭕️ Gods plans cannot fail and so He says:
“So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11
God will turn it around on the head of the ememy.
Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein: And he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him. Proverbs 26:27
Whoever digs a hole and scoops it out falls into the pit they have made. The trouble they cause recoils on them; their violence comes down on their own heads. Psalm 7:15-16
Wait! And see. It speaks of the end.. It’s all in DUE time, and not till then. Let it come full circle and don’t intervene. It’ll all work out. God will work it out. He’s allowing it all so that in the end He can work it out for your good and confound your enemies. But you must wait! Again, I say wait. Amen.
