He will make a way through

And he shall pass through the sea with affliction, and shall smite the waves in the sea, and all the deeps of the river shall dry up: and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the sceptre of Egypt shall depart away. Zechariah 10:11

God is able to tear down whatever is blocking and hindering you from moving forward into what He has promised you. There will always be something trying to stop you. There is always something that you will have to pass through. There are usually delays but that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t persist. Don’t stop in that which you are going through, follow through. Just when you think you’re at your wits end or you’re through, know that God is up to something. He’s going to make a way through it or He will give you another direction. He’s not just got a trick up His sleeve, He is all knowing and all mighty!! There is nothing that my God cannot do. He will make a way through for you.

Through the most difficult times comes the biggest blessings. Why is it big? Because it is something you could have not done on your own and He wants to show Himself mighty in it. It will strengthen your faith and the faith of others too. Too often we look at the magnitude of our problem instead of the size of our God! 

He will go ahead of us, we will pass through because He passes through. He goes before us and He is with-in us. Just as He was with the children of the Israel when they faced and passed through the Red Sea, so will God be with you as you face your own Red Sea. The same God that was with them, is with you and He is Mighty to save. You might see it as more than a challenge, it may seem like an impossibility and all you might see is it’s size or magnitude. But, you must get your focus on the size of your God, rather than the size of your giant. Remember David and Goliath? What seems impossible is only an illusion to stop you!! He is not only making a way but He is empowering you to walk through that seemingly impossible thing.

And the Philistine said unto David, Am I a dog, that thou comest to me with staves? And the Philistine cursed David by his gods. And the Philistine said to David, Come to me, and I will give thy flesh unto the fowls of the air, and to the beasts of the field. Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied. 1 Samuel 17:43-45

The giant basically mocked and taunted David BUT DAVID KNEW AND SAW THE SIZE AND MAGNITUDE OF HIS GOD. This wasn’t the first time he had encountered intimidation as he was being prepared as a shepherd boy while in the fields to fight off strong animals to protect the sheep from them. So, he didn’t let the giant intimidate Him. He went from bears and lions to a giant of a man. This wasn’t his first rodeo, and note that with each battle one, it seems the next one gets bigger. New levels requires tougher challenges but remember, it’s all just an intimidation strategy. It’s size is an illusion, it looks big to scare you big but it’s all just a smoke screen to divert you. Goliath didn’t stop David, simply because he paid no attention to his size BUT HIS SIZE. You see, that’s what you and I must see! OUR GOD!

Remember the Israelites AFTER God had already saved and delivered them from slavery? They remained in the wilderness for far too long and finally 12 spies were sent to go observe the land of promise so that they could go in and take it. All of the spies saw giants in the land but 10 of the spies could only see the giants. That’s all they could see in their way. That was their primary focus. Not taking the land. Not what God had promised or commanded. Only the giants.

How did the Bible say that the Israelites saw themselves? As grasshoppers! Where did they see God and did He even fit in? No! Guess what? They didn’t enter in. Only 2 out of the 12 spies chose to see their Gods size instead of the magnitude of their problems that they faced. God saw the size of their faith! Guess what? They raised up a new generation, a Joshua generation as we know it and we have one to bring up one too! Let God do what only He can do inside of you! Let Him lead you out and bring you in!!! Don’t see the problem only, see your God. When we get our eyes on the waves instead of the ruler of the waves, we sink. How do you see yourself? Do you see you and only your weaknesses, or the God of all power inside of you? It’s not by our own might or power that we get this done but by His Holy Spirit at work in us; His people.

“And I will sow them among the people: and they shall remember me in far countries; and they shall live with their children, and turn again.” Zechariah 10:9

It is not His will that we live defeated like this. Though we’ve been scattered yet we shall return because we remember God and we will live and the next generations will see and know it! God has something great in store for you but you must not stop! Follow through. Just when you don’t know what else to do, He will show up and show out and come through for you what you could of never done on your own. That’s what He wants to do, show you the impossible so that it will become a testimony to help many that’s strayed or afraid. All for His glory and your story! So many are waiting on Him, so many are waiting on you. Others need your testimony of how you got through... He will work through you, using it for your good and His glory! I heard a preacher say last Sunday: if it don’t take God to do it, I don’t want it!

That’s the kind of God I serve! I don’t want ‘nothing’ that don’t come from Him or don’t take Him to do or design! That’s too easy! Every good and perfect gift comes from above. He has good plans for us and if doesn’t fit into His plan, how will it work out for me? We might not see how it could possibly happen but that’s where our faith comes in. It might not happen how or when we think it should, but My God is Great and there is NOTHING too difficult or big for Him. I don’t know what you are facing or what the magnitude of your problem or impossibility is, BUT GOD knows. HE is coming through for you if you will just seek Him, wait, believe, keep trudging, trust and expect! You can be honest with God, it doesn’t surprise Him. Sometimes all we can say is: “Jesus” or “Lord I do believe, help Thou mine unbelief.” We can build our faith in His Word, praise, encouraging and praying for one another. We can be assured that He is going ahead of us. He will smite down those waves as if they were nothing! The sea of impossibility that seems to be too deep will be dried right up right in front of you or He will provide a path through it. The pride of those who were against you will be brought down as nothing and the rod that seemed to keep you in defeat shall pass away and you won’t even see it! 

Are you ready for that blessing? Well get ready to see it as reality because ‘my God’ is mighty, able and can turn it around!!!!

And I will strengthen them in the LORD; and they shall walk up and down in his name, saith the LORD. Zechariah 10:12

That’s good news!! That’s huge. He’s gonna strengthen us! For it is in our very weaknesses and when we are weak that we find that HE is strong IN us! Remember what happens to those that wait upon the Lord?? We are infused with His power to soar above it all! He’s on the heights, but He’s also in the valley of waiting with us. When the suddenly burst open, even the waves move and the winds are still. They obey at the sound of His voice! Watch what He will do! 

We can fight because The  Lord God Himself IS WITH US. He is with you child! The enemy will CONFOUNDED and put to shame! (10:5) God is going to blow many minds and confuse the enemy. Get ready to watch Him do what only He can do!!! He can ‘strengthen & save’ you and your house!!  He will bring you back to the place of comfort, security and peace. He’s going to make you stronger than before. He is loving and He will have mercy on you because He loves you! Though it feels you’ve been cast off , He is going to hear your prayer if you will just trust Him! He is with you!!! Even your children will see it and rejoice. He’s about to do something that will change you and ‘the next generation’ forward and forever ..... All you gotta do is call and believe! 

And they shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because the LORD is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded. And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them again to place them; for I have mercy upon them: and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am the LORD their God, and will hear them. Zechariah 10:5-6

Don’t give up or in. Pursue! Go forward. Even though it feels like you are blocked in on all sides and being chased down, this gives Him the perfect opportunity to move!!!! What’s impossible with man, is possible with God. Who or what do you look to to save you? Don’t look back to Egypt or what’s familiar, go forward in faith. (Read Exodus 14 for encouragement today. Same God now today!) Stop looking in all the wrong places! Start looking up. Start looking within. Our redemption is near. The God in you will rise up to help you!! Even today! Even when you don’t see it, He’s working. Even when you don’t feel it, He’s working. Guess what, He never stop working! He truly is a way maker, miracle worker, promise keeper and LIGHT in the darkness. That is Who He is. He will light the way for us. It’s in the waiting that we find it. He gets the final say and I declare that this whole thing is about to turn around for your good if you will just hold on and trust Him. What you thought might get the best of you, will be for your benefit. Like Joseph, they meant it for your harm BUT GOD meant it and worked it out for your good! Just hang on and Remain faithful is the 2 things I tell you. Wait! 

Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even to day do I declare that I will render double unto thee. Zechariah 9:12

Return back to Him prisoner of hope! Don’t lose your hope, it’s an anchor. Even today He declares that He will restore DOUBLE “back” to you!! That’s how my God works. He will show up and show out in the least unlikely places. He is for you! I come to encourage you today!!
