Let us press on
“And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.”Revelations 22:12
“Behold, the Lord GOD shall come with a strong hand, And His arm shall rule for Him; Behold, His reward is with Him, And His work before Him.” Isaiah 40:10
The Lord clearly says to BEHOLD! To fix your eyes upon. To look. To take notice. Don’t miss it. To know! That surely HE IS COMING and He is coming through for you and on your behalf. It may not look or feel like it now but faith looks to what it sees with faith eyes; that which makes no sense to the natural. It believes for what it does not hold YET, as though it does. Start calling forth those things that aren’t as though they are. Be careful what you do and don’t speak. Do speak life and don’t hold back.
God will reward your willingness and obedience but He does not reward ‘just anyone’. He rewards the faithful. He is faithful. Are you faithfully waiting on Him to do what only He can do, or, are you trying to obtain and get it yourself? I know sometimes I do and I often grow impatient. We gotta get our stance back!
He is coming. He will come with a strong hand. He’ll give to each one accordingly to His work or deeds, as He says so. That’s His word, not mine. HE will reward the faithful. He will give the promised of what was promised. I don’t know how or when, I just know Who! I don’t know how He’ll make a way, I just know He will because He said He would. Even when I don’t feel it or see it, I must hold onto faith to believe for it and trust that He’s working behind the scenes and all around me.
He goes on before us clearing the way and working it all out. His reward is with Him and He wants to give us our recompense. He’s already gone before you and though it may not seem like it, if you’ll wait, you’ll see. He may seem to be missing, but He’s not. He’s just working behind the scenes. We can see Him all around in His creation. We will see Him in promises fulfilled. Don’t give or cave into desperation. Hold the line!
Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that AFTER you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise. Hebrews 10:35-36
So that AFTER ‘you’ have done the will of God, you may receive the promise. The promise is true and sure but your part receives it and believes for it! Just because it’s there doesn’t mean you’ll go for it or wait on it. What is Gods will for you? Whatever His word says is true and whatever He has asked of you to do. If He says wait, simply wait and see! Until you see and know, don’t move unless He has shown you. Be still and know. We can’t see what we don’t behold.
And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Galatians 6:9
It’s easy to get in a loop or get sidetracked and want to quit. To give into cursing or giving up. To think this season will never end. Some seasons are more harsh and last longer while some are mild and short. No matter the season you’re in, God is still in control. It may seem dark and bleak or harsh, yet God is producing something in you. He wants to bring and do something through you and birth something out of you. He is always planting seeds and He wants to bring you a harvest. DO NOT FAINT or you will not reap. Only AFTER you have endured and done His will….
But he who endures to the end shall be saved. Matthew 24:13
Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. 1 Corinthians 9:24
But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. 1 Peter 5:10
Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. James 1:2-4
Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. Romans 5:3-5
Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. James 1:12
Pressure under fire is how things are forged and bent but in the end it is made stronger and firm. No bending, no weight, no strengthening.
For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. Habakuk 2:3
It’s easy to want to stop doing good when there’s bad all around but easy isn’t the way out or through… Don’t lose sight of it.
Do not lose heart. Do not faint. Do not give up. Do not grow weary. Take heart. Grab hold of and stir up your faith. Praise before your breakthrough and don’t stop or quit….. AFTER you’ll see. Not everyone is willing to get to the other side. Laser focus you must keep. Lift up your eyes to the hills where your help comes from; to the Maker of both heaven and earth and all in it. Sing and rejoice even when it don’t feel right, until a new song He puts in your heart. Bless the Lord oh my soul…..
“Turn your eyes upon Jesus
Look full in his wonderful face
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of his glory and grace”
~ “Turn your eyes upon Jesus” lyrics
It ain’t over till it’s over and God gets the final say! Who told you to quit? You have reason and cause and need to endure. The enemy don’t want you to get your prize or finish to completion your race. He wants you to compromise your faith. He wants you to quit.He wants to throw you off guard. Don’t look. Keep your eyes straight.
Do not turn to the right or the left; Remove your foot from evil. Proverbs 4:27
Anytime you look away from the promises to the problem you are in danger of sinking.
Let us purposely throw off every weight that hinders. Get a vision or focal point on which to focus and so get laser focused and honed in on it, so that when distractions come, you won’t fall away.
God Bless.
