Winds of change

The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation. I am the LORD; in its time I will do this swiftly.” Isaiah 60:22

I believe that the turning of the tides and the winds of change are here amongst us. What would have taken years can happen in a blink or change course in a second.

A few years back I remember asking my dad about a large piece of land (a sand dune) on Black Beard Island that separated two bodies of water. It separated the rivers water from the oceans. He had said that it would take years but eventually it would wash away and the two would become one body of water. Well, shortly after a hurricane came and took that piece of land away overnight. It happened in an instant and it was all changed just like that! 🫰What should have taken years… took moments, with just one storm. Just one touch of heaven and Gods hand, can change everything and anything.

He doesn’t need permission. He is God. He can do anything He wants to.

God can change your circumstances in a second. He can do suddenly and swiftly what would have otherwise seemed impossible or taken a very long time. Maybe it has but there’s a due time for everything. He will turn the tides. He can turn it around in your favor and use it for your good, just like He promised! First He speaks, then He performs. Whatever you’re going through, He is bringing you through it. (Psalm 23) I know you’ve waited a long time but He is coming through…. The winds of change are here. This is the marking of something brand new.

There is a season for everything and He makes everything beautiful in its time. Good things just take a little time and greater things take even more time. He is God and He is good, even when circumstances aren’t so pleasant and things don’t feel so good. He is working even when we can’t see it. We are a work in progress and His workmanship. He always finishes what He starts. I believe that He does His best work in the dark to reveal in the light what He has done. He created us for good works. He is doing a good work in us whether we see it or not. He will do it right in front of all those who doubted and tried to break you, just to show them that He is God. He can do anything that He wants to! When He wants to. How he wants to. With whom He wants to.

He first breaks us to put us back together like He wants to. In the midst of it all, we learn to trust Him and cooperate with His plan, realizing that He alone is God. We are His Masterpieces.

We can be like a tree planted by the waters whose roots run deep. We won’t be moved though shaken. God will remove what He wants to. Those roots don’t grow overnight, they were years in the making for such a time as this.

God can change things quickly and rapidly when He’s ready and when He sees that you’re ready. We are in covenant with Him if we are His. He takes care of His own. He can save, deliver, and do anything that He wants to! He can change the winds and turn the tides just like that! This tree is a representation of what it means to be rooted in Christ and that dune is a reminder that He can remove any hindrances that block and bind you! He said when the time is right, He would make it happen. You don’t have to.

When He spoke the word, it was already in motion, even if it was years in the making. Remember: Anything, anyone, anytime, anywhere! My God can do anything.

God is turning the tides as we speak, He is turning tables. Just like the crazy wind patterns that we are seeing now and have never seen before, we are about to see a move of God like we have never seen before. It is no coincidence. The same God that sent and controls those winds is the same God that rules over you and me. Make sure you’re in alignment with Him. While He is turning the table for one, it’s turning on the other. While He is setting one up and appointing them, He is taking another one down. A season for everything. He can make even your enemies to be at peace with you!

We are all His creation. It all belongs to Him.

Behold, the Lord GOD shall come with a strong hand, And His arm shall rule for Him; Behold, His reward is with Him, And His work before Him. Isaiah 40:10
